Frontend/UX developer

Location: remote/hybrid

Type: Full-time and/or Internship

 

Emissium now has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team and be at the heart of our software development strategy! In this role, you will work with both development and marketing teams to build the user interface and deliver the greatest experience to our customers.

 

In this role, you will help us create and simulate an environmental market associated with electricity.

Your responsibilities:

  • Meet and exchange with our clients to identify and address their needs.

  • Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.

  • Transform UI prototype and features into a production-ready application.

  • Conduct original work, improve and maintain the web application with web development best practices.

  • urn wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and build scalable UI components.

  • Transform app designs into front-end code with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

 

What you bring to the team:

  • A natural and creative person, who enjoys speaking to others and voices ideas.

  • Passion for digitalization and desire to contribute to the energy transition, with 100% belief in our vision.

  • Effective time management and prioritization as fundamental skills.

  • 3+ years of web development experience, creating UI’s and user dashboards.

  • A good visual design sense and ability to work with UI design tools such as Figma.

  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, React for front-end development.

  • in HTML/HTML5 and CSS (SCSS is a plus).

  • Experience with JS libraries such as D3.JS, jQuery and Bootstrap are a plus.

  • Knowledge of react router for dynamic, client-side routing. Ability to build and work with SPAs.
