Emissium now has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team! We are seeking a dynamic Power Grid Analyst to join our energetic team and play a vital role in our journey to digitize and environmentalize electrical grids. As a Power Grid Analyst, you'll be pivotal in understanding and integrating the complexities of the electricity grids and devices, delving into the nuances of the electricity and power market in Europe, and mastering the power market's principal regulations.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret the dynamics of the electricity grids and their devices, ensuring optimal integration with our systems.

  • Investigate and stay current with the European electricity and power market operations, and their regulatory environments.

  • Develop and maintain software in Python that supports and enhances the functionality of our electricity grid solutions.

  • Engage with potential clients, including power companies and various entities within the electricity market, to identify and meet their needs.

  • Collaborate with a distributed team of passionate engineers and industry experts.

 

What you bring to the team:

 

  • A deep understanding of electricity grids, market operations, and devices, preferably with 2+ years in the energy sector. PhD in the field of electrical engineering or related field is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Python for software development, with experience in other programming languages as a bonus.

  • nsight into the electricity and power markets in Europe, along with a firm grasp of the relevant regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.

  • The initiative and ability to work independently in a remote setting, thriving in situations that require swift action and problem-solving.
